Pumpkin and Stretch first entered comic strip form in 2019 when Vincent became inspired by the process of storyboarding the first Pumpkin and Stretch book.
Having always been a fan of comic strips, cartoons, animations, and video games—like Moomin, Turma da Mônica, Calvin and Hobbes, Studio Ghibli, The Adventures of Tintin, SpongeBob SquarePants, The Far Side, The Simpsons, Crash Bandicoot, and more—it felt necessary to show all of the characters' actions, jokes, and the little vignettes of their lives in this form.
In 2022, the comics started to appear (translated into Estonian) in Estonian Life newspaper in Toronto.
Through these comics, one will see the essence of the Pumpkin and Stretch world.
